Do you know an open front shoulder at foot strike gets your lower body to send your pitches directly into your target?
A Closed Front Shoulder
If you’re like most pitchers you currently create an imbalance, you land your stride with your front shoulder closed to your target, and essentially
don’t know where the ball will end up.
An Open Front Shoulder
On the other hand, when you place your feet one baseball
width apart and lift your front leg straight up, your ability to let your glove arm
take over your motion.
Your glove arm opens your hips, your hips begin your throwing
action, and your ball goes where you want with one motion and one result ... into
your target.
Resolutions
Unable to balance your motion, feel free to use my
do-it-yourself pitching program or my in-person, South Jersey pitching sessions
to improve your motion.
Until next time, I’m Coach Skip telling you pitch location
is coachable.
