Your Front Leg Lift Determines What Happens Next

Your front leg establishes the balance, direction, and timing your entire delivery depends on.

Your front leg establishes the balance, direction, and timing your entire delivery depends on.

Get the lift wrong, and every movement that follows may have to compensate.

Build A Balanced Leg Lift

Begin with your feet close together, your shoulders level, and your weight balanced.

As your front leg lifts, keep your front knee even with or ahead of your front shoulder, keep your head level and your body upright.

Keep your front leg controlled and don't let it pull your body toward the target.

Balance first. Movement second.

When Your Front Leg Lift Fails

When your front knee falls behind your hip or your body leans toward the target, balance can disappear.

Your front foot begins falling toward the ground before your throwing action develops.

Now your stride lands early, you lose momentum, and your throwing arm must compensate.

That's not one connected motion.

Get Better Results

Your front leg lift prepares your body for the glove hand to initiate the delivery.

Let your glove hand trigger the movement. Let your hips lead. Let your front leg respond.

Don't let gravity determine your stride. Let your sequence deliver the baseball.

Pro Pitching Institute teaches the balance and front-leg control needed for repeatable command—or your instruction is FREE. No questions. No hassles. No hard feelings.

Your Glove Hand Starts the Pitch

Your throwing hand delivers the baseball, but your glove hand starts the movement that makes the throw possible.

Your throwing hand delivers the baseball, but your glove hand starts the movement that makes the throw possible.

When your glove hand fails to do its job, your throwing arm often must compensate.

The Glove Hand Leads

From a balanced starting position, your glove hand moves across your body.

As it moves, your hips respond, your stride develops, and your throwing hand prepares to deliver the baseball.

Each movement prompts the next.

Your glove hand isn't simply pulling your glove out of the way. It's helping organize your entire delivery.

When Your Glove Hand Fails

When your glove hand drops under your armpit or stops moving too soon, your sequence can break down.

Your front foot may land early, your hips may rotate late, and your throwing arm must hurry to find the target.

That's compensation, not command.

Get Better Results

Let your glove hand cross your body before your stride finishes, let your hips lead, your front leg respond, and your throwing hand finishes the motion.

Don't start your pitch with your throwing arm. Start with a balanced starting position and let your glove hand do the work.

The Pro Pitching Institute teaches you the glove-hand movement needed to deliver the baseball to your target with uncanny regularity—or your instruction is FREE. No questions. No hassles. No hard feelings.

Command Before Velocity

Every pitcher wants more velocity, but velocity means very little when you don't know where the baseball is going.

Every pitcher wants more velocity, but velocity means very little when you don't know where the baseball is going.

Consistently delivering the ball to your target gives velocity a purpose.

That's why command comes before velocity.

Stop Trying To Throw Harder

When velocity becomes the goal, pitchers often add effort.

They rush their delivery, overthrow, and ask their throwing arm to create speed.

The harder the arm works on its own, the harder it becomes to repeat the same delivery.

Velocity comes from sequence.

Build Command Through Sequence

Command begins when your body repeatedly moves in the same order.

Your starting position establishes balance, your glove hand initiates the motion, your hips respond, your front leg carries the movement forward, and your throwing hand delivers the baseball.

Glove Hand → Hips → Front Leg → Throwing Hand

Your body delivers the baseball to your target..

Let Velocity Follow

When your sequence becomes repeatable, you create the conditions for both command and efficient velocity.

Don't sacrifice direction trying to create speed.

Build command. Organize your motion. Let velocity come through sequence.

The Pro Pitching Institute teaches you the sequence needed to deliver the baseball to your target with uncanny regularity or your instruction is free. No questions. No hassles. No hard feelings.
