Your shoulder position begins with your feet.
Tilted Shoulders
When your feet start too far apart, your starting position puts
your body out of balance. Your hips and shoulders tilt, and your body must
compensate as the delivery develops.
As your body attempts to regain balance, your shoulder
position, head, direction, and release point can change with your shoulders.
Now your throwing hand must search for the target instead of
arriving there through a repeatable sequence.
Level Shoulders
Bring your feet closer together and establish a balanced
starting position.
When your hips and shoulders remain level, your head moves
more directly toward the target and your throwing hand has a more repeatable
path to release.
Your glove hand moves across your body, prompts the lower
body, and allows the rest of the delivery to follow.
Get Better Results
Don't try to correct tilted shoulders in the middle of your
motion. Fix the position that created the tilt.
Build the balance first, let your glove hand trigger the lower
body, and let your sequence deliver the baseball.
Head → Direction → Sequence → ONE Motion.
