Self-Coached Pitchers

• Understand how their body works,
• Feel how their body reacts to itself and
• Have a natural process that has them adjusting their next pitch results to how they felt themselves move during their last pitch.

Self-Coached Pitchers continue this process until their location is as competitive as they feel their results need to be.

When the Pitcher’s self-adjustments don’t work, these Self-Coached Pitchers seek out a Pitching Coach.

Pitching Coaches

Pitching Coaches are “anointed”.

When someone believes an individual can revive or energize another person’s pitching results, the individual is officially “anointed” as a Pitching Coach. Sadly, no formal training is required!

“Anointed” Pitching Coaches …

• See the way their Pitcher’s body move,
• Relates what they see to how they want the Pitcher’s delivery to look and
• After comparing what they see to what they think is right, the Pitching Coach asks their Student to make a seemingly random adjustment to their last motion.

When a Pitching Coach’s efforts don’t produce the results the Pitcher expects, the Pitcher either goes into self-coaching mode or finds another Pitching Coach. Ironically, the new Pitching Coach gives their Pitcher’s a fresh set of self-coaching goals. When these goals don’t work, the Pitcher looks for yet another Coach to boost their results.
