When you place your center of gravity just in front of your back-foot, you force your body to spontaneously bring your throwing hand through the same spot on every pitch.

Getting your body to revolve around your center of gravity forces each pitch to travel directly into your intended target. Consequently, your pitching stands out as markedly better than any pitchers competing for the same openings as you!

Lose your center of gravity

The instant your movements place your center of gravity over your back foot, you force a front-to-back or back-to-front weight shift, you use your throwing arm to stabilize your center of gravity and, consequently, you never really know with any confidence where any one pitch will end up.

By placing your center of gravity over your back foot, you place your motion in a state of chaos, your release window changes from one pitch to the next and the Pitchers who end with their center of gravity in front of their back-foot outperform you.
