Uncanny Accuracy Begins with Your Glove Hand

Most pitchers think accuracy comes from the throwing arm, but accurate pitching begins with the glove hand.

Most pitchers think accuracy comes from the throwing arm, but accurate pitching begins with the glove hand.

What Happens Without Glove-Hand Control

When the glove hand doesn't move with purpose, the body loses its sequence.

The front foot lands behind the hip, the shoulders lose direction to the target, and the glove hand becomes passive, serving only to maintain balance.

As a result, the target area becomes larger, the throwing arm compensates, and command becomes inconsistent.

The Glove-Hand Palm Flip Creates Precision

A properly timed glove-hand palm flip, with the palm turning toward the target, allows the body to stay connected throughout the delivery.

When the pitcher starts in balance, with the front foot aligned with the back toes and the front toe pointing toward the target, the glove hand naturally turns over as the lower body leads.

That simple movement improves timing, transfers energy through the kinetic chain, reduces the target area, and produces greater command with less effort.

Pitch Smart

The glove-hand palm flip is a sign that your body is moving in the correct sequence.

That's why Sequence Over Strength™ teaches the glove hand first.

We're so confident in our instruction that if we can't help you consistently get the baseball to your target through remote instruction, your instruction is FREE—no questions asked.
